Pelosi Tells Illegal Immigrants That Work Site Raids are Un-American
EXCLUSIVE: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi recently told a group of both legal and illegal immigrants and their families that enforcement of existing immigration laws, as currently practiced, is "un-American." The speaker, condemning raids by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, referred to the immigrants she was addressing as "very, very patriotic." "Who in this country would not want to change a policy of kicking in doors in the middle of the night and sending a parent away from their families?" Pelosi told a mostly Hispanic gathering at St. Anthony's Church in San Francisco.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi recently told a group of both legal and illegal immigrants and their families that enforcement of existing immigration laws, as currently practiced, is "un-American."

The speaker, condemning raids by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, referred to the immigrants she was addressing as "very, very patriotic."

"Who in this country would not want to change a policy of kicking in doors in the middle of the night and sending a parent away from their families?" Pelosi told a mostly Hispanic gathering at St. Anthony's Church in San Francisco.

"It must be stopped....What value system is that? I think it's un-American. I think it's un-American."

Pelosi said she was invited to the church by Rep. Luis Gutierrez, D-Ill., as part of his 17-city, cross-country tour called United Families, which he says is intended to put a human face on the immigration debate.

"We think that families are the cornerstone of our society and our nation, and an immigration system should preserve those families, not destroy them," Gutierrez told FOX News Capitol Hill Producer Chad Pergram on Tuesday.

The congressman is collecting petitions that ask President Obama to "stop the immigration raids and deportations that are tearing our marriages, families and children apart." He is expected to present those petitions when Hispanic members of Congress meet with the President Wednesday.

On Saturday night, Pelosi joined Gutierrez before a cheering crowd at St. Anthony's chanting, "Si se puede," or "Yes we can."

Referring to work site enforcement actions by ICE agents, Pelosi said, "We have to have a change in policy and practice and again ... I can't say enough, the raids must end. The raids must end.

"You are special people. You're here on a Saturday night to take responsibility for our country's future. That makes you very, very patriotic."

"I was embarrassed by what she said," said Rick Oltman, with Californians for Population Stabilization, an anti-illegal immigrant group. "Exhorting illegal aliens for taking responsibility for our country's future.... In fact, sitting there in the audience.... I really resented that comment."

"I think it was pandering to the crowd but also insulting to American citizens who consider themselves to be patriotic, who obey the rule of law," said Oltman, who shot a video of the rally.

I would add that the b i t c h should be dropped out in Mexico where she thinks her constituents are. She and the rest of the open borders traitors are counting on the illegal aliens who get amnesty to keep them in office forever.

Unfortunately, that is exactly what will happen if they push through the amnesty bill buried in the middle of some other innocuous bill. Remember, these morons do not READ the bills they pass!

She’s the one that’s un-American. These politicians do what they want in opposition to the American citizens’ wishes. It’s time to drag them to the streets and introduce them to a few guillotines. They’d have to custom fit one for fat Teddy to accommodate his three chins! But then they could also use it on Carl Rove's fat ass afterward. As more Americans lose jobs, they just might become enraged enough to see through these traitors and their savior NObama.

I saw the tape, and couldn't figure out who she was talking to. Either they had an interpreter, or cue cards prompting applause, because we know none of them speak English.

She's a loser! I heard about this around 6pm CST while listening to Mark Levine....first time I have ever heard him on radio.....Wow......was he ever great at putting her where she belongs.....how un-American she is! TRAITOR!!!!!!
I think we will be hearing more about this.....I think she just committed policitical suicide with those remarks. Hope I can find the station that I was listening to again. Levine was great!!!....not sure I spelled his name right.

This government needs to be taken back from Pelosi, Gutierrez and the rest of the

To bad someone didn’t stand up and slap her in the mouth and make her eat that microphone. It is not any concern and it certainly not the fault of the American People if and when an illegal is separated from his or her family, if anyone is to blame it is politicians like Pelosi and Gutierrez that that have encouraged the illegal to not only come, but to stay in this country. 90 % of the American People made it quit clear we don’t want the illegal in this country and we will not allow any type of amnesty

To answer your question Nancy, The American People we want the illegal removed from this country by any and all means possible and we want it done now! If it takes the American People to do it, I think that’s precisely what should happen. How would she like it if the American People grew some backbone mobilized and did take over the job? There would be more than doors kicked in and the illegal would be separated their family and from this country permanently.

Apparently Pelosi and the rest of the criminals in Washington don’t know how fed up the American People are with talk like this? Perhaps if this broad loses her job to cheap labor illegal immigrant workers she'll change her mind. Maybe if her children weren't learning at the rate they should cause the school is trying to educate anchors of illegals, she'd change her tune. Or maybe, just maybe if she's raped by one-she's get it. This has to be the most obvious/accepted law breaking act I've ever seen. We know they are here, we can find them (EVerify/Residential Logs)-but we need to be humane and nice about it? Our four fathers would roll over in their graves for this "Un American" acceptance.

Funny, I'd say that using non-union workers at her vineyard, while favoring illegals is pretty anti-American. Preaching politics in a church filled with illegals is preposterous, and frankly, this teflon filled, bug-eyed &itch needs to be tarred, feathered and dropped out of her jumbo, non-refueling Air Force jet. How has she managed to pull off this outrage for so long?
